Imports from China through an agent is one of the most common forms of importing and cooperating with the country, which is also used directly by companies that have been trading with China for a long time but do not have a direct presence in China.

This form of importing relies heavily on the reliability of the agent, who may not address issues if there is no financial incentive after payment. This type of cooperation is recommended for routine, regular imports from China that do not require quality control. The agent’s commission for these imports varies between 3-10%, depending on the complexity and volume of checks and work. However, the exact purchase price can be difficult to verify, which may distort this information.
Agents work closely with the manufacturer and therefore the customer will not know the real import price even when meeting the manufacturer in person.
If you search for a company on the internet, you are most likely dealing with an agent who is acting for the manufacturer. Our company does not offer this form of cooperation for imports from China, as we do not consider it safe.

For less than container volumes of imports from China it is most advantageous to use our services, specifying the product or the target price. Price and quality of imports from China are of course intertwined, so it is not always wise to push the price as low as possible. From a certain threshold, the quality of imports from China drops disproportionately with the price (but our customer is our master). It’s all up to you. We will of course always give you a recommendation, but the decision is entirely up to you.
Everything works the same as if you ordered the goods in the Czech Republic. We are a Czech company and we are subject to Czech laws. Our job is to take over the guarantee for the goods and any problems with import from China are solved operatively. We try to build a long-term relationships.

If the staff member needs to travel outside of Guangzhou, where our office is located, we charge direct airfare and accommodation expenses in addition to the price per day. You are of course informed of all costs.
If our customer enters into direct contact with the manufacturer, they can use our services on a one-off basis for individual tasks or we sign an agency agreement with a percentage of commission for imports from China and defining the scope of inspections and activities.

Our office in China employs our own staff, so we are not a partner or middleman. We can find you companies that present themselves with similar services, but service in China through a partner in China and this of course increases the overall cost and communication is not as flexible.
Warehouse
Our office has a warehouse that can be used to optimize shipping costs. For example, for smaller shipments over a longer period of time. In our warehouse we will store and ship the goods at once. We can also arrange transport to a trade fair in China and help you with orientation on site. Of course, translation services are available.

China is a country where high quality products are produced. The main problem why Chinese product has such a bad name is the disproportionate pressure from customers, especially on price, which will affect the quality of the product. One must realize that cutting costs on some parts of production is neither feasible nor worthwhile.
Import and transport from China
Based on 15 years of experience with the Chinese market, we are able to offer a comprehensive service. Unlike some companies, we have our own tribal staff directly in China. Therefore, we have the entire process of production, import and transport from China under the best possible control.
There are basically three modes of transportation, each with its own specifics.
Import and transport – import from China by train
It is the golden rubbing way which contains the advantages but disadvantages of the two following. Shipping time from China is around two to three weeks + customs controlled. It is ideal for bulky cargo where a plane would be expensive but a ship would take a long time. Suitable for corrosive, magnetic, liquid, and radioactive goods, which are excluded from air freight due to safety concerns. Also suitable for transporting goods that do not fit into a shipping container. It is more expensive and faster than shipping, but slower and cheaper than air transport.

Import and transport – import from China by air
Air transport is the most expensive and not fast, but not all goods are acceptable for air transport. Air freight is charged not only by weight but also by volume weight, where the volume of the space occupied by the cargo is converted into a weight factor. Bulky goods, even if light, are therefore very expensive to transport by air and it is more economical to choose another mode of transport.
Import and transport – import from China by ship
Shipping is the cheapest, but takes usually around 40 days and is not moldable. Before the goods arrive at the port you usually have no information about the progress of the shipment. The minimum volume requirements are 2 m3. And the economic optimum is between 15 – 28 m3. 28 m3 is usually the maximum for a small shipping container. From 15 m3 onwards the price is the same or similar to an LCL shared container. Unshared transport by a separate, even half-empty container has the advantage that the goods do not suffer at the transhipment points.
