GiftsService.com was commissioned by IndigoPrint, a print and marketing agency based in the Czech Republic, to deliver a bespoke set of promotional dice for use in a high-visibility Point-of-Sale Marketing (POSM) campaign. This project encompassed the design, sampling, and full production of three distinct dice styles, each reflecting a different aspect of the client’s brand messaging.
Project Objectives
The primary goal of this project was to conceptualise and produce three distinct styles of promotional dice, each conveying a specific marketing message for IndigoPrint’s in-store campaign. A major requirement was the inclusion of sophisticated branding features, including scannable QR codes and campaign slogans, directly applied to each dice surface.
To ensure both visual differentiation and tactile engagement, we explored a combination of materials—namely acrylic and wood—each selected for its aesthetic value and functional suitability. Our design team collaborated closely with the client to finalise formats that would complement the unique properties of each material.
A strict timeline was in place: from design finalisation through to sample production and full order delivery, all deliverables had to be completed within a span of 19 business days. Additionally, the client set a stringent budget limit, requiring that the unit cost per dice remain below £0.40 while still reflecting a polished, premium-quality appearance suitable for retail visibility and consumer interaction.
