Custom flags can be produced using several techniques, including machine stitching, screen printing, digital printing, or embroidery.
In some cases, we create a separate fabric patch based on the client’s design requirements. This patch may feature a crest, logo, or other complex artwork and is stitched or attached to the flag during production.
We use only high-quality materials in flag manufacturing. Each flag is carefully finished to prevent fraying. Most flags include a reinforced strap, fitted with either polyester cord or clips, depending on customer preference. Flags can also be produced with channels for ropes, poles, metal eyelets, or hooks.
Custom Flag Manufacturer
Traditionally, custom flags are produced as single-layer flags, meaning the design appears correctly on the front and mirrored on the reverse side.
Alternatively, double-sided flags can be manufactured so the design appears correctly on both sides.
For double-sided flags, we recommend adding an internal blackout layer between the two fabric layers during production. This prevents light from passing through and ensures maximum color clarity and professional appearance.
Custom Flags – Production Process
Screen printing is a widely used method for flag production. In the manufacturing process, screens are first prepared for each color, and the printing sequence is planned in advance. In the next stage, these screens are used as templates during printing, and the flag is printed in the selected colors.
With this method, each color must be printed separately. After printing, the flag is left to dry before the next color is applied. Screen printing is especially well suited for producing large flags that do not have complex designs.
Digital printing is used in flag production, especially for more complex designs that are not suitable for screen printing. Digital printing machines can easily print the desired image directly onto the flag without the need for separate screens for each color. This method is also commonly used for smaller orders, where preparing screens would not be cost-effective for flag manufacturing.
COLOR FIXATION
When producing custom flags, an important step is fixing the printed design to ensure long-lasting color. For this reason, the finished products are placed in a high-temperature steam chamber, which allows the pigments to penetrate deep into the fabric and remain there. Our flag production is based on achieving vibrant, long-lasting colors that effectively attract attention in promotional use.
Flag Washing
During this stage, flags and banners are washed using hydrosulfate treatment to ensure color stability.
This process protects the flags from weather conditions and UV exposure, guaranteeing durability and consistent quality.
Sleeve, Loop & Channel Sewing
