How Do Custom Promotional Hand Warmers / Cooling Pads Work?
These heat pads contain a transparent liquid in various colours and a small metal disc. By bending or clicking the metal disc, a chemical reaction is triggered, releasing heat (up to 55°C) as the liquid gradually turns into a cloudy solid.
The pad remains warm or cool for up to 30 minutes.
Promotional heat pads can be returned to their original liquid state by boiling them in hot water until the solid fully dissolves back into liquid. The product can be reused until the chemical reaction no longer functions. The more often the pad is activated, the more its effectiveness gradually decreases. The process can be repeated up to 1,000 times.
When boiling the pad, place a piece of fabric at the bottom of the pot to prevent it from sticking.
